What can I quote straight away?
Short answer: you can quote straight away any Class 10, 7 or 8 shed up to 25 m wide, 8 m high and 120 m long, on a Wind Region A site outside the Northern Territory, with pier and pad footings. The full range is in the table below. It is the same on ShedMate Lite and ShedMate Standard. Anything outside it is custom: send us the job number and we will work through the options with you.
Quick check before you quote
- Building class 10, 7 or 8
- Within the size, roof and bay limits below

How you know it is in range
As you design, ShedMate checks the shed against its engineering library and shows the result at the bottom of the Shed Designer.
- Engineering Calculated means the shed matches a computation in the library.
- Engineering needs attention means the library doesn't hold a computation for this exact shed yet. The design is not wrong. Click Report Missing Computation in the Engineering panel. It is free, and ShedMate engineering typically reviews it within 24 to 48 hours.
See What does my engineering status mean, and what do I do?
Don't reshape the shed to get into range. Moving bays, deleting columns or changing the roof pitch to clear a warning sells your customer a different building from the one they asked for. Keep the shed as drawn and report the missing computation, or ask us about custom engineering.
Outside the range
Anything outside the table is custom engineering. Send us the job number and what your customer needs, and we will work through the options with you before you quote.
