# Export a purchase order to send to your supplier
Short answer: **export one supplier view as an Excel sheet, untick Customer details, and check the sheet before you send it.** Send each supplier its own view, and add anything your supplier needs that the sheet doesn't carry, such as your purchase order number.
**Before you export**
1. Click **Refresh** and check **Missing Items** (see *Check your order against the model before you send it*)
2. Open the supplier view you are ordering from
3. Untick **Customer details** in the export window
### Export one supplier view

| 1 | On the job page, click **Orders**. Pick your package |
| 2 | Click **Refresh**, so the order reads the latest conversion |
| 3 | Check **Missing Items**. If the number is above 0, open it and check before you order |
| 4 | Click the supplier view for this order |
| 5 | Click **Export Excel** (1), then **Export current view** (2) |
| 6 | In the export window, untick **Customer details** (1) |
| 7 | Click **Export** (2). Open the sheet and check it before you send it |
### What the sheet shows
The sheet opens with a header, then the items in the view with the columns you set for it.
- Your company logo, **PURCHASE ORDER** and the package name
- The order date
- **Ordered by**: your name and email, so your supplier knows who placed the order. Leave it ticked
- **Customer details**: your customer's name and one contact. Untick it for a supplier. The two rows stay blank on the sheet
- The job number and the supplier view name
**The sheet has no purchase order number, business details or delivery address.** If your supplier needs them, add them to the sheet before you send it.
**The export window remembers your choice.** After you export with **Customer details** unticked, it stays unticked for your next export. If you click **Cancel** instead, it goes back to ticked.
### Exporting several views
**Export all views** makes one sheet for each view you tick. Send each supplier only its own sheet. If two views both pick up an item, it appears in both sheets, so check your views don't overlap before you export them all.
**Steel orders: send the punching files with the order.** The purchase order does not include punching detail. See *How do I generate the punching list for my roll former?*
